Visitors to Creede find its charm irresistible.  There are many sites to enjoy in town: the Creede Historical Museum, Underground Mining Museum, a Walking Tour, the Creede Repertory Theatre, art galleries, shops and fine dining are all within walking distance. A short drive will take you to the mines on the historic Bachelor Loop.

Outdoor activities abound around Creede as well. Hiking, backpacking, mountain biking, whitewater or scenic rafting, fishing, and driving 4x4 trails are some of the summer options. Winter brings snowmobiling, cross-country skiing, downhill skiing at nearby Wolf Creek, and snow-shoeing.

Wildlife is present throughout the year. Song birds, water fowl, elk, moose, bighorn sheep, mule deer, lynx and coyote can be seen during many months. Also present in the area are bears, eagles and cougars.

The Old Firehouse Bed and Breakfast is happy to help plan or organize your visit to Creede. Just let us know what we can do to assist you!
